DAO recently started commissioning various disabled artists to write blogs for the site to keep us updated either on their own artistic practice, or on various festivals or projects happening within the world of Deaf and Disability Arts - or just on their thoughts on how and where our art form is going.
We are planning to commission more blogs over the coming months and hope you will help contribute to make them a lively and dynamic part of the site.
Currently Crippen is doing the rounds with his irreverent take on disability. The multi-talented Dolly Sen, is the latest recruit to the good ship dao. As one of the up-and-coming 'Mad Chicks' she promises to write a lively blog. Joining her is artist, academic and journalist, Paul Darke who is currently giving Disability Arts a bit of a rebirth in Wolverhampton. His views on the current state of play within the disability arts sector promise to cause a reaction.
Please remember the views expressed in these blogs are not necessarily endorsed by dao (disability arts online). We want to use this space to get some debates going, so please add your comments on our forums. Your feedback is important to us.

I've always said that Mr Hambrook is a jolly nice chap, and the fact that he's suddenly started blogging again, and has started putting in little asides about me, has nothing whatsoever to do with this!
